Besides standard data encryption, your data except email and certain subscription information is encrypted using a key,
and that key is your password, which is double-encrypted and hashed and then is stored in the server.
This makes sure that in the unlikely event of a server data compromise, your information such as
password • account settings • most of the subscription data is protected from the attacker.
All that information is decrypted on the fly when you login to your account and is never stored.
